Leaders in Native Education Convening

Kaa Shaayí was selected to create the logo for 2023 Leaders in Native Education Convening (LNEC). For a second year, the convening will be held in Dzantik’iheìeni (Juneau, Alaska) in Lingít Aaní. The conference is held August 11–13, 2023 at the Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall. The logo symbolically represents three states. Alaska is represented by the light blue mountain symbol, Washington by the teal evergreen tree, and Oregon by the blue rolling wave. The symbols are created using Formline elements of ovoids, S-shapes, trigon, and crescents. LNEC is hosted by Region 16 Comprehensive Center www.r16cc.org
