Scholarships
Lynda Zambrano Legacy Scholarship
To honor the work that Lynda Zambrano has done over many years in Tribal Emergency Management, Cedar Spirit Foundation has established a Legacy Scholarship to ensure her values, dreams, and impact continue for generations to come. This scholarship supports Tribal scholars pursuing Emergency Management education and related fields.
Pacific Northwest Indigenous Student Endowment Fund
The Pacific Northwest Endowment Fund is designed to provide sustainable scholarships for Tribally enrolled students seeking higher education, creating a permanent funding source that will serve Indigenous students for generations. The fund prioritizes Tribally enrolled students seeking educational pathways that honor Ancestral Wisdom and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.

Faculty & Staff Support
Cedar Spirit Foundation supports Indigenous faculty and staff at partner schools through scholarships, fellowships, and direct support. We recognize that supporting the people who teach, mentor, and steward Indigenous knowledge in academic settings is just as critical as supporting the scholars themselves.
Faculty and staff at Northwest Indian College and other partner institutions are invited to inquire about support opportunities including conference travel, research stipends, and professional development funding.

Community Needs Survey
Tell us what your community needs. Tribes, Indigenous-led nonprofits, community education programs, and partner institutions can submit funding needs through this public form. Your submissions feed directly into Cedar Spirit Foundation’s funding priorities and grant pipeline, so we can pursue the right opportunities for the right communities.
This survey is how we keep Cedar Spirit’s funding work grounded in real community needs — not in our own assumptions about what those needs are.
