This research project was completed in the Summer of 2022. As part of the research project, an 1880 Tlingit paddle was replicated, then donated to the Burke Museum. The replica may be available for students to handle to aid them in creating their paddles. The data gathered in this research project will be used to create templates available to other Tlingit artists wanting to create paddles similar to what their ancestors made.

Additional content will be added to the website later this year.
